You can prep the potatoes in advance so the dish only takes a few minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>250g block of halloumi cut into bite sized chunks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>750g potatoes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 onion diced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 cloves garlic crushed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 red pepper, deseeded and diced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp fennel seeds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp dried thyme<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp smoked paprika<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt and pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fresh parsley or coriander and crispy chilli oil to garnish.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cut the potatoes into dice add to a baking tray with the chopped peppers, onion and garlic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mix in half the oil, fennel, thyme and smoked paprika. Season with salt and pepper and bake in oven at 180\u00bac for 30-40 mins or until cooked through stirring half way through to ensure they\u2019re cooked evenly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set potatoes to side if using immediately or leave potatoes to cool and refrigerate until needed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When ready to serve<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fry the halloumi cubes on a medium to high heat in one tablespoon of oil until starting to brown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add potato mixture and heat through<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While potato mix is heating through, poach egg and heat the CHEF Approved baked beans.
