Garnish the finished dish with parsley and black pepper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INGREDIENTS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>500g&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairwayfoodservice.com\/own-brand\/mains-sides\/chips\/fairway-excellence-supercrispy-gourmet-chunky-chips\/\">CHEF Prestige Supercrispy Gourmet Chunky Chips<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100 g of pecorino Romano or parmigiano Reggiano<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two egg yolks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100g &nbsp;of streaky bacon\/Guanciale\/pancetta<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>250 mil of double cream<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sprig&nbsp; of flat leaf parsley<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Black pepper grinder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">METHOD<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Fry chips &nbsp;or cook as desired in oven\/air fryer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grate the cheese and mix in a bowl with the two egg yolks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fry the bacon in a pan until crispy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour in the double cream and heat until almost boiling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add egg and cheese mixture and mix well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove from heat pour over chips.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Garnish with black pepper and parsley<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For a tasty twist on a carbonara, top with creamy parmesan sauce and bacon or, if you can get hold of it guanciale.
