Out go the marshmallows and nuts and in come the Maltesers and maraschinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/www.maltesers.co.uk\/sites\/g\/files\/fnmzdf601\/files\/2022-03\/Rocky%20Road.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INGREDIENTS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> 125g Maltesers Balls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;150g dark chocolate, chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;150g milk chocolate, chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;100g buttermilk spread<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;125g maraschino cherries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;60g light digestive biscuits, broken into small piece<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\">\n<li>Grease and line a 20cm square cake tin with cling film.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a saucepan melt the dark and milk chocolate with the buttermilk spread over a very low heat, stirring all the time, or you can do this in the microwave, in short 20 second bursts, stirring between each burst until melted together.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave to cool slightly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cut half of the cherries in half and stir into the cooled melted chocolate along with the digestives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then add all except for a handful of the Maltesers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour into your prepared tin and scatter the remaining Maltesers on top.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Put in the fridge and leave to set (about 4 hours or overnight) before cutting into pieces.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Time: 20min Ingredients: 6 Makes: 16 Servings Our twist on the classic chunky bar.
