{"id":23108,"date":"2024-03-05T14:11:29","date_gmt":"2024-03-05T14:11:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/insider.fairwayfoodservice.com\/?post_type=recipe&#038;p=23108"},"modified":"2024-03-05T15:04:15","modified_gmt":"2024-03-05T15:04:15","slug":"bisto-tomato-risoto","status":"publish","type":"recipe","link":"https:\/\/insider.thewholesalegroup.co.uk\/recipe\/bisto-tomato-risoto\/","title":{"rendered":"Bisto Tomato Risoto"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Prep: 10 minutes<br>Cook: 30 minutes<br>Serves: 10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1.7l water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>40g Bisto Vegetable Bouillon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>75ml olive oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 onions, peeled and diced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 cloves of garlic, crushed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>650g arborio rice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>75g sun dried tomatoes, drained and sliced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tbs tomato puree<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tbs fresh thyme<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tbs fresh basil, chopped, plus extra for garnishing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>800g spinach<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bring the water to the boil and dissolve the Bisto Vegetable bouillon to make your stock.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and cook the onions and garlic for 5 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the rice and cook for 1 minute. Now add 500ml of the stock and stir until the stock isabsorbed. Repeat this process until all the stock has been absorbed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the sundried tomatoes, tomato puree, thyme and basil. Cook for 1 minute, thenremove from the heat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wilt the spinach in a little water, drain, and season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To serve, place the risotto on a bed of spinach on plates.
