{"id":11144,"date":"2022-04-28T13:36:48","date_gmt":"2022-04-28T12:36:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/insider.fairwayfoodservice.com\/?p=11144"},"modified":"2023-07-02T06:26:48","modified_gmt":"2023-07-02T05:26:48","slug":"chocolate-fondant-2","status":"publish","type":"recipe","link":"https:\/\/insider.thewholesalegroup.co.uk\/recipe\/chocolate-fondant-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Chocolate Fondant"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INGREDIENTS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Serves 4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>25g unsalted butter at room temperature, plus extra for greasing<\/li><li>175g dark chocolate (at least 70%)<\/li><li>75g caster sugar<\/li><li>2 large eggs<\/li><li>25g plain flour<\/li><li>\u00bd tsp vanilla extract<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4 x 160ml ramekins are required for this recipe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">METHOD<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Preheat the oven to 200\u00baC\/400\u00baF\/gas 6, and place a baking tray in the oven to heat up (if cooking immediately)<\/li><li>Grease your ramekins<\/li><li>Break up the chocolate and soften in a bain marie, until just melted<\/li><li>Remove from the heat and leave to cool slightly<\/li><li>Cream the butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy, then beat in the eggs, one at a time<\/li><li>Stir in the flour until just combined, then gently mix in the melted chocolate.
