The Wholesale Group is strengthening its CHEF Approved own-brand offer with the launch of an extensive new range of store cupboard essentials, giving foodservice operators greater choice across everyday kitchen staples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Developed specifically for professional kitchens, the new products span rice, breadcrumbs, Mediterranean ingredients, garlic pur\u00e9e, bouillon pastes, nuts and dried fruits, combining versatile ingredients with practical foodservice formats designed to support consistency, efficiency and value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two 5kg rice options \u2013 CHEF Approved Easy Cook Basmati Rice and CHEF Approved Long Grain Rice \u2013 provide versatile staples for high-volume catering. The Easy Cook Basmati is specially parboiled to deliver light, fluffy and separate grains, making it suitable for dishes including curries, biryanis and pilaffs as well as everyday accompaniments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also joining the range are CHEF Approved Japanese Style Panko Breadcrumbs, with a light, open texture designed to deliver a crisp coating for dishes ranging from katsu and fried chicken to fishcakes and baked toppings; CHEF Approved Sundried Tomatoes in Oil for Mediterranean-inspired dishes; and a ready-to-use CHEF Approved Garlic Pur\u00e9e, helping kitchens achieve consistent flavour while reducing the preparation associated with peeling, chopping and crushing fresh garlic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A new CHEF Approved Premium Bouillon Paste Range, available in Beef, Chicken and Vegetable, provides chefs with a versatile, concentrated base for stocks, gravies, risottos and sauces. Each 1kg tub can make approximately 40 litres of broth, while the paste format can also be added directly during cooking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Completing the launch is an expanded selection of baking and catering ingredients. The CHEF Approved Nut Range includes walnuts, flaked almonds and ground almonds in 1kg packs, while the CHEF Approved Dried Fruit Range features sultanas, raisins, glac\u00e9 cherries, dates and apricots, alongside a practical 3kg Mixed Dried Fruits format for high-volume kitchens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
